The Parker Peak Journey

Among the most extraordinary and most miserable of Jett and Amanda's journeys was a trip to Parker Peak. It was extraordinary because words can't begin to describe the grandeur of what they saw and miserable because it rained for most of the trip. It was not a trip that was particularly conducive to photography, but despite the damp weather, Jett managed to capture some of the terrain.

The map to the right shows the route they followed. The trip was 44 miles round trip and counts among the most impressive journeys that these two Yellowstone veterans have ever taken.
