Meet Your Guides - Jett T. Hitt

Jett was born in northwest Arkansas and grew up there on a dairy farm. He often refers to himself as an "Ozark mountain hillbilly" with a penchant for training horses, and to authenticate his heritage he will be more than happy to tell you about his grandfather who was imprisoned during the 1930s for making moonshine. However, this tends to obscure the true nature of his dual existence as both a Yellowstone outfitter and a professor of music at Idaho State University. He holds degrees in both music and German and is currently in the latter stages of a doctorate in music composition at the University of Kentucky.
