| Jett Hitt has ridden horseback through more than 1,200 miles of the 2.2 million acres that is Yellowstone. This work was inspired by countless rides through the backcountry. In the words of the Yellowstone Park historian, Dr. Lee Whittlesey, "It is Yellowstone." It could have only been written by someone who lives Yellowstone. It was recorded March 10 -12 by Frantisek Novotny (violin), Kirk Trevor (conductor) and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. It is in the traditional concerto format, having three movements, and it is dedicated to the German violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter.
